I started the business after going on a wild hunt to try and find a clean, natural product to help my dry troubled acne prone skin. Most products I found were sticky, waxy, or just not right. I decided to try Tallow and BOOM. Pure magic.

Genesis Tallow is an all natural/non-toxic Tallow based skincare & home goods company local to  Vancouver Island. You might be wondering what Tallow is and why it make my business unique? Let me tell you all about it!

Tallow is derived from rendered animal fat. I know the thought of putting fat on your skin can seem odd but in reality, it's something our ancestors have used for centuries derived through holistic methods! It has a saturated fat ratio that is identical to our own skin cells, meaning it promotes healing to damaged skin. Genesis Tallow uses grass fed/finished beef suet local to Canada. It is packed with nutrients making it a whole skin miracle worker. 

Tallow is one of the most wasted parts of the animal. We are committed to upycle the fat, creating ancestral skin care and home products while reducing waste on our island. 

With minimal ingredients and essential oils, these tallow based products aid with dry skin, wrinkles, stretch marks, acne, scaring, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and more.
